Treatment Approach

In therapy, Tegan utilises a neuro-affirmative and trauma informed approach and draws upon a range of evidence-based interventions including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Specialised Supportive Clinical Management, EMDR, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She is currently completing her certification in Schema Therapy.

Tegan (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist who works in private practice and hospital settings. She is a warm clinician who is passionate about creating a safe space where clients can collaboratively work towards their therapeutic goals.  
Tegan has experience working with adults presenting with adjustment, mood, anxiety, trauma-related, personality, and eating disorders. She has a particular interest in working with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, and disordered eating/body image concerns, as well as supporting Autistic and ADHDer clients. Tegan has completed specialised training in eating disorders having worked as a psychologist on Austin’s Health’s Eating Disorder Unit and is an ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician.
