The ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential formally recognises the qualifications, knowledge, training and professional development activities required for clinicians to meet the minimum standards for the delivery of safe and effective eating disorder care.

Who is eligible for the Credential?

The following health professionals, with the required experience, training and knowledge, living and working in Australia, are eligible to apply:
GPs 
Dietitians
Mental health professionals – including counsellors, general practitioners (as providers of Focused Psychological Strategies), mental health nurses, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, and social workers

 

The credentialing process

The credentialing process is simple. After applying for your ANZAED credential through connect·ed, your application will be assessed by ANZAED. Once approved, create your profile on connect·ed and publish your profile so prospective clients and referrers can find you in the system.
